The Symbol module takes four rounds to finish. In each round, Blind finds the symbol that makes a sound, Mute looks up that symbol under the current stage, and Deaf relays the correct button position to Blind. One correct press completes a round, not the whole module.
What each player contributes
| Role | Information or action |
|---|---|
| Blind | Rotates the pointer, listens for the sounding symbol and presses the instructed button. |
| Deaf | Confirms the correct panel, describes the selected shape, asks about the answer color and translates it into the actual button position. |
| Mute | Tracks the stage, finds the symbol in the manual and confirms the answer using agreed gestures. |
Before starting, Deaf names the module's location and checks that Blind is on the intended panel. If there are several similar modules, keep track of the stage separately for each one.
Stage 1: find, identify, look up and press
- Blind rotates the pointer through the available symbols and stops when one makes a sound. Deaf must not be asked to confirm a sound they cannot hear.
- Deaf describes the selected symbol to Mute. Include the detail that distinguishes similar shapes: “hollow star” and “filled star” are different descriptions.
- Mute finds the matching drawing in the current manual. The symbol selects the row; Stage 1 selects column 1. The color at their intersection is the answer for this round.
- Deaf asks one color at a time, waiting for Mute's agreed yes/no gesture after each question. Once confirmed, Deaf finds that colored button on the actual panel.
- Deaf gives Blind a position-only instruction based on that panel's layout. Blind presses the specified button. After a successful input, move to Stage 2.
Stages 2–4: repeat the search with the new column
| Round | Manual lookup | Next step after success |
|---|---|---|
| Stage 1 | Sounding symbol's row + column 1 | Start Stage 2 |
| Stage 2 | Sounding symbol's row + column 2 | Start Stage 3 |
| Stage 3 | Sounding symbol's row + column 3 | Start Stage 4 |
| Stage 4 | Sounding symbol's row + column 4 | Check that the module is complete |
Find the sounding symbol again in each round. The new lookup uses the current symbol and current stage; a color from an earlier round is not a standing instruction. Four stages do not mean only four turns of the pointer: finding the sound may take several turns within a round.
Mute should keep the stage count with the manual lookup. This guide does not rely on a particular panel light or display to show the stage; the precise behavior of those indicators has not been verified here.
A short communication example
Suppose the team has successfully finished the first round and is now on Stage 2. Blind stops the pointer at the sound. Deaf describes the selected shape. Mute finds its row and reads column 2.
If that cell says red, Deaf can ask “Red button?” Mute confirms, and Deaf relays the red button's actual position to Blind. The color is illustrative; it is not a fixed answer for any symbol. Do not copy a button position from a different panel or a different module.
If the answer is not accepted
- Check the stage: Stage 2 means the second round of this module, not level 2 or the pointer's second position.
- Check the shape: Describe the symbol selected when the sound was heard, including fill and internal marks. Do not read whichever shape happens to be nearby.
- Check the lookup: Use the current stage's column and the identified symbol's row in the manual supplied for this run.
- Check the relay: Mute confirms a color; Deaf must convert that color to a physical button position before Blind presses.
- After a wrong press: A player guide reports that Symbol input resets. Re-establish the stage before continuing instead of automatically advancing the count. This reset behavior has not been independently playtested here.

Updated October 15, 2026. The explanation of the four-round workflow and role handoffs was developed from gameplay observations and the in-game Symbol manual reviewed while preparing this guide. The manual shows how to match a symbol row with a stage column to obtain a button color.
The additional player reference is Cosmo’s Steam guide (Russian), updated October 9, 2026. It supports the notes on stage tracking, similar-looking symbols and the reported reset after a wrong press. The reset behavior remains a player report, not an independently tested finding here.
The communication sequence is a suggested team workflow. Gesture meanings must be agreed beforehand. Exact symbol-to-color answers come from the current in-game manual; this page does not reproduce a fixed answer table or claim an independent playtest of the latest release.
